At 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 10, Dale Fry, a former Northwest Christian School star and now a member of the LIU Sharks, saw his team edged 7-6 by the Rider Broncs in their NCAA Division I baseball contest.

LIU Baseball Stadium served as the venue for their first game this season against the Broncs.

Fry was charged with seven earned runs over 1.2 innings, posting three strikeouts and issuing two walks.

The Sharks are set to play their next game Friday, March 13, at 3 p.m. at LIU Baseball Stadium against the Wagner Seahawks.
