Law Library Resource Center offers free legal webinars in April

The Law Library Resource Center, part of the Judicial Branch of Arizona in Maricopa County, announced on Apr. 1 that it will offer a series of free webinars throughout April. The sessions are designed to provide the public with information on protective orders, establishing paternity and legal decision-making, sealing criminal records, changing and modifying child support, changing a name, and navigating divorce or legal separation processes in Maricopa County.

These webinars aim to help residents better understand key legal procedures that can impact their families and personal lives. By offering these resources at no cost, the center seeks to make important legal information more accessible to those who may need it.

Prior registration is required for all participants. Interested individuals can sign up through the Law Library Resource Center’s events calendar at https://jbazmcmaricopa.libcal.com/calendars.

The schedule includes several English- and Spanish-language sessions: On April 2 at 3 p.m., there will be a webinar about the divorce and legal separation process; on April 7 at 3 p.m., a session about changing or modifying child support; on April 10 at noon, an event covering establishing paternity, legal decision-making, and parenting time; on April 14 at noon and April 15 at 3 p.m., Spanish-language sessions addressing modification of child support as well as parental decision-making topics; on April 17 at noon, a webinar about sealing criminal records in Maricopa County; on April 21 at 3 p.m., another Spanish-language session regarding divorce procedures in Arizona; followed by an event about changing names in Maricopa County on April 23 at 3 p.m.; and finally a session focused on protective orders scheduled for April 30 at 3 p.m.
