Arizona State Representative Justin Wilmeth, a Republican elected in 2022 to represent the state’s 2nd House District, recently shared several opinions and references on his social media account.

On April 6, 2026, Wilmeth posted: “I’ll never understand anyone who actually believed that post-1492.”

Shortly after, he commented on international alliances, stating: “I’ve always been a staunch supporter of NATO, for the reasons Marco listed at the front of this clip. But his entire message I also agree with – our condition for defending Europe is we get to use those bases when we see fit.” This tweet was published on April 6, 2026.

Later that day, Wilmeth shared two links without additional commentary: “https://t.co/dMwSf1WbEn https://t.co/kr2UbZ6mul” (April 6, 2026).

Wilmeth succeeded Daniel Hernández Jr. as state representative following his election in 2022.
