Arizona State Representative Justin Wilmeth, a Republican elected in 2022 to represent the state’s 2nd House District, shared several updates on his social media account between October 11 and 12, 2025. His posts ranged from commentary on college athletics to reflections on legislative life and local weather.

On October 11, Wilmeth commented on the alignment of collegiate athletic conferences, writing: “Currently watching the ATLANTIC COAST Conference tilt between Stanford and SMU. Neither of those schools are remotely close to that coast, yet they’re both ACC members. Collegiate conferences have absolutely jumped the shark. ¯_(ツ)_/¯”

Later that day, he expressed appreciation for a recent professional engagement: “Greatly enjoyed this opportunity and thankful to have been invited. Wonderful conversation at the @AZStateBar with @almaforarizona about what life is like inside the Legislature. Thanks for the time!” The post referenced a discussion at the Arizona State Bar alongside Alma Hernandez.

On October 12, Wilmeth shared a brief observation about local weather conditions in Phoenix: “Video proof that, yes, sometimes it does rain in Phoenix #azwx https://t.co/efkHa3Ni8I”

Wilmeth has served in the Arizona State House since his election in 2022, succeeding Daniel Hernández Jr., and represents constituents in Arizona’s 2nd House District.
