On October 9, 2025, Wilmeth posted about public perceptions of success and failure, referencing a quote by NFL quarterback Baker Mayfield. He wrote, “Love this quote by @bakermayfield. It’s a reminder that, to most people, you’re only important to them if you’re a winner. Win and they lionize you. Lose and you’re cast aside by many. Two days later, on October 11, 2025, Wilmeth commented on the excitement of postseason baseball. He stated, “Tonight is why playoff baseball is amazing #ALDS”.
