Arizona State Representative Justin Wilmeth shared a series of posts on his X (formerly Twitter) account between September 6 and 7, 2025, offering commentary on sports figures and events.

On September 6, Wilmeth referenced the previous summer’s Olympics and drew a comparison between Snoop Dogg’s role as an NBC correspondent and another individual named Plummer. He wrote: “During the Olympics last summer, someone saw all the fun Snoop Dogg was having doing the NBC correspondent thing and said ‘He’s completed the core game mission of life and is now just doing random side quests.’ I kinda see Plummer doing the same. Dude had a legendary college”.

Later that evening, on September 7, he posted a brief comment in response to an unspecified event or person: “Wow, she’s a winner “.

In another post early on September 7, Wilmeth discussed a football game decision involving Michigan State University (MSU), stating: “I hate to second-guess and I’m on a couch and not the sidelines… but that was my rationale too. Defense was solid all night. Go for it and win or go and fail and make MSU go 60 yards for a FG. ¯_(ツ)_/¯”.

Wilmeth, a Republican who began serving in Arizona’s State House in 2022 representing District 2 after succeeding Daniel Hernández Jr., frequently uses social media to comment on current events related to sports and politics.
