Arizona State Representative Justin Wilmeth commented on U.S. foreign policy and political developments in Venezuela in a series of tweets posted on January 4, 2026.

In one post, Wilmeth praised the performance of Secretary of State Marco Rubio, stating: “Rubio is absolutely crushing it as Sec of State.” (January 4, 2026).

Wilmeth also referenced popular media to illustrate his views on international affairs. He wrote: “This is from the Amazon show Jack Ryan, but this clip nails exactly the Venezuela situation and why it’s so important.” (January 4, 2026).

Addressing shifts in U.S. political stances toward Venezuelan leadership, he remarked: “Democrats were for the ouster of Maduro before they were against it. ¯_(ツ)_/¯” (January 4, 2026).

Wilmeth was elected to represent Arizona’s 2nd House District in the State House in 2022 as a Republican, succeeding Daniel Hernández Jr.
