Arizona State Representative Justin Wilmeth shared his reactions to recent developments in space exploration and international relations through a series of posts on his X (formerly Twitter) account in April 2026.

On April 13, 2026, Wilmeth commented on a development related to the Challenger Generation, stating, “As a scarred member of the Challenger Generation, I’m damn happy to see this. “.

Later that day, he addressed geopolitical shifts in Asia-Pacific alliances. Wilmeth wrote, “Big move. This now completes a full circle (of sorts) around China’s eastern shores. US has strong relations/ties with Australia, Philippines, Taiwan, South Korea and Japan. Indonesia filled the last hole geographically. Given that and the importance of the Strait of Malacca, it”.

On April 14, 2026, Wilmeth expressed optimism about lunar exploration: “The Moon base is happening. By the mid-30s, Moon trips and landings will just be another commute to work.”

Wilmeth was elected as a Republican to represent Arizona’s 2nd House District in 2022, succeeding Daniel Hernández Jr., and has since been an active voice on matters of technology and international affairs.
