Arizona State Representative Justin Wilmeth commented on recent international and political developments in a series of tweets posted on January 4, 2026.

In his first post, Wilmeth wrote, “Good. CCP just lost their Western Hemisphere proxy.” (January 4, 2026). Later the same day, he remarked on Senate leadership by posting, “Damn, I bet 2025 Chuck Schumer is mad at 2020 Chuck Schumer “ (January 4, 2026). In a subsequent tweet that evening, Wilmeth described a recent event as “A giant move in what I’ve been calling Cold War 2.0” (January 4, 2026).

Wilmeth, a Republican elected to the Arizona State House in 2022 representing the state’s 2nd House District and succeeding Daniel Hernández Jr., has used social media to comment on both domestic and international affairs.
