The Arkansas Tech Wonder Boys, featuring former Paradise Valley High School standout John Witt, suffered a 7-3 defeat against the Southern Arkansas Muleriders in their NCAA Division II baseball matchup at 5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 28.

Walker Stadium at Goodheart Field was the venue for the contest, the fourth time these teams have played this season. Earlier that same Saturday, the Wonder Boys claimed an 8-3 victory over the Muleriders.

In two innings of relief, Witt gave up one earned run, walking one batter and striking out one as well.

The Wonder Boys are set to play the Ouachita Baptist Tigers next. That game is planned for Tuesday, March 3, at 2 p.m. at Rab Rodgers Field.
