Greater Phoenix Chamber opens applications for Valley Young Professionals board

The Greater Phoenix Chamber announced on Mar. 25 that applications for the Valley Young Professionals (VYP) Board of Directors will open on March 30 and are due by 5 p.m. on April 10, 2026.

The VYP program is designed to serve as a leadership pipeline to the Chamber’s board of directors, offering participants exclusive events, leadership development, and mentorship opportunities. This initiative aims to engage young professionals in the Greater Phoenix region and prepare them for future leadership roles within the business community.

Applicants must be members of either the Greater Phoenix Chamber or Valley Young Professionals. Those selected will serve an initial two-year term with an option to renew for another two years. Individuals who are not yet members are encouraged to inquire about membership in order to become eligible for consideration.

The Greater Phoenix Chamber focuses its efforts across the Greater Phoenix region and represents more than 2,400 businesses of various sizes and industries according to its official website. The organization contributes to community development by fostering economic growth and talent preparation as outlined on its official website. It also promotes regional prosperity through public policy advocacy, economic development initiatives, and workforce preparation according to the official website.
