On Friday, May 2, former Xavier College Preparatory standout Izzy Hycnar’s current college team, the Minnesota State Mavericks, lost 5-2 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Winona State Warriors.

The game took place at Bowden Field. This was their third matchup against the Warriors this season.

The Mavericks’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, May 8 at 1 p.m. at Gerry Pinkston Stadium against Central Oklahoma Bronchos.
