The Law Library Resource Center (LLRC), part of the Judicial Branch of Arizona in Maricopa County, is offering a free legal information clinic at the Tolleson Public Library. This initiative aims to provide community members with necessary legal forms and assistance for various court processes such as name changes, child support, and divorce filings.
To address accessibility issues for those unable to travel to the four library locations in Maricopa County, the LLRC has organized these clinics at public libraries throughout the Valley. The upcoming clinic will be held on Wednesday, May 21, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Tolleson Public Library located at 9055 West Van Buren Street.
During the clinic, attendees can receive help in both English and Spanish with court-related forms including those for divorce, paternity, child support, and guardianship. However, it is important to note that while court staff can assist with filling out these forms, they are not authorized to provide legal advice.
For additional guidance and information about free or low-cost legal resources available in the community, LLRC staff will be present at the event. Those seeking more details can contact the LLRC via their website at https://superiorcourt.maricopa.gov/llrc/, by phone at 602-506-7353 or through email at services@jbazmc.maricopa.gov.
