Four educators from Paradise Valley Unified School District (PVSchools) have either maintained or achieved National Board Certification this year. This certification is widely recognized as a significant achievement in the education field, reflecting an educator’s commitment and expertise.
Two teachers, Amy Marcus of Boulder Creek Elementary and Kelly Romm of Grayhawk Elementary, have maintained their National Board Certification. The district stated that this demonstrates their continued dedication to high standards in teaching.
Nichole Beintema from Larkspur Elementary and Nick Popovich from Shadow Mountain High School are the two educators who have newly achieved National Board Certification. The district noted that their accomplishment not only marks a personal milestone but also contributes to ongoing improvement within PVSchools.
The district highlighted its history with the program: “The District takes great pride in being home to Arizona’s first-ever National Board Certified Teacher. Since then, dozens of other educators have joined this prestigious group and have made the same commitment to their craft.”
“Celebrating such exemplary commitment and dedication is paramount. We are honoring these accomplished educators this week as part of NBCT Week. Join us in applauding their success and outstanding contribution to enhancing the quality of education and many journeys of excellence in PVSchools,” according to a statement from the district.
