Five students from Paradise Valley Unified School District achieved a perfect 36 composite score on the ACT exam, according to a June 1 announcement. The students recognized for this accomplishment are Ethan Rimkus (Pinnacle High School), Sarvi Masta, Haroom Alam, Lauren Chang, and Sai Saanvi Potu (Paradise Valley High School).
The district said this achievement is rare and reflects an extraordinary level of dedication, commitment, and perseverance from each student. “Their success reflects their hard work and perseverance, as well as the outstanding support and instruction provided by the Paradise Valley and Pinnacle High School teachers and staff. Achievements of this caliber are rare, and we are incredibly proud to celebrate these successes across our district,” the announcement said.
Paradise Valley Unified School District serves the Paradise Valley area in Arizona under the guidance of a board of school trustees. The district focuses on engaging and inspiring students through quality instruction and dynamic learning experiences. It also promotes anti-racism, equity, and inclusion in its policies and practices, operates community learning centers and magnet programs to enhance educational opportunities, and specializes in public schooling, according to the official website.
The district congratulated all five students on what it called a significant academic milestone.
