On Tuesday, April 22, former Horizon High School standout Derek Smith’s current college team, the Utah Utes, won 13-5 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Utah Valley Wolverines.
The game took place at UCCU Ballpark. This was their first matchup against the Wolverines this season.
The Utes’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 25 at 6 p.m. at Smith’s Ballpark against Kansas Jayhawks.
