The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) gave Coyote Kitchen, Inc. in Phoenix a single citation during a Feb. 27 investigation into Foodborne Biological Hazards, according to information on the FDA’s website.
The citation issued by the FDA was related to this issue: ‘Your hazard analysis did not identify a hazard that required a preventive control.’
The FDA routinely inspects facilities nationwide so it can assess if workplaces and products comply with laws and regulations put in place to advance public health. Inspection reports are released for public access.
According to its website, the FDA is the government agency chiefly charged with overseeing the safety and quality of human and animal drugs, biological goods, medical tools and tobacco products.
