Congresswoman Yassamin Ansari has used her social media platform to comment on recent political and oversight activities, including ongoing investigations related to Jeffrey Epstein and criticism of Republican policies regarding critical mineral supply chains.

On February 26, 2026, Ansari posted about her travel to New York with the House Oversight Committee Democrats for high-profile depositions. She stated: “On my way to New York with @OversightDems for the depositions of President and Secretary Clinton. We’ve been clear since day one: we want to hear from anyone who might have information on Jeffrey Epstein, Democrat or Republican, so we can get justice for victims and survivors.” (February 26, 2026).

Later that same day, she addressed a question regarding attendance at a deposition in Ohio involving Les Wexner. Ansari wrote: “Curious where you were last week for the deposition with Les Wexner in Ohio? As I’m sure you know, he’s the man responsible for Epstein’s vast wealth which enabled his heinous crimes against children. Anyway, see you tomorrow.” (February 26, 2026).

In a separate post made on February 26, 2026, Ansari commented on U.S. policy concerning critical minerals. She said: “I strongly support securing our critical mineral supply chains and advancing U.S. leadership. But that’s not what Trump and Republicans are doing. There’s a corruption story here, and Republicans are risking our public health, gutting environmental protections and harming public” (February 26, 2026).

Yassamin Ansari won her congressional seat in the 2024 general election by defeating Jeff Zink with approximately 71% of the vote.
