Congresswoman Yassamin Ansari, who represents Arizona and won her seat in 2024 by defeating Jeff Zink with 70.9% of the vote, has used her social media platform to comment on recent developments related to the ongoing investigation into Jeffrey Epstein’s network.
On February 17, 2026, Ansari posted a blunt reaction on X (formerly Twitter), stating: “Disgusting. No chance in hell.”
Later that day, she announced her travel plans regarding a significant congressional inquiry: “On my way to Ohio for the Oversight Committee’s deposition with Les Wexner—the man responsible for Epstein’s wealth. We’re going to follow the money, ask the hard questions, and keep pushing until the full truth about Epstein’s network is out in the open. I’ll keep you posted.” This statement highlighted her commitment to uncovering details about financier Jeffrey Epstein’s connections and financial backers.
The following morning, Ansari provided an update as she approached Wexner’s estate: “On my way to Les Wexner’s estate this morning with @OversightDems for an important deposition. As far as we know, no Republican Members of Congress have showed up for this critical piece of our Epstein investigation. We’re here to get as many answers as we can for the survivors.”
Les Wexner is a businessman known for his past association with Jeffrey Epstein, whose criminal activities and connections have been under scrutiny by multiple government bodies. The U.S. House Oversight Committee has been investigating these ties in efforts to provide transparency and justice for survivors.
Ansari’s election victory in 2024 marked a significant win against Jeff Zink and established her as one of Arizona’s prominent Democratic representatives.
