Congresswoman Yassamin Ansari has used her social media platform to comment on recent statements and actions concerning international affairs, expressing concern over rhetoric and decisions that she perceives as dangerous.

On April 1, 2026, Ansari posted, “Oh wow, he actually admitted it.” The following day, she continued her commentary with another post: “It’s true. They’re horrified that a maniac is putting the entire planet in danger.” Later on April 2, Ansari highlighted specific language reportedly used about an unnamed country: “We’re going to bring them back to the stone ages where they belong.”

He’s talking about a country of 90 million people. Vile, horrifying, evil.

Yassamin Ansari was elected to Congress in 2024 after defeating Jeff Zink in the general election by a significant margin, receiving approximately 70.9% of the vote compared to Zink’s 26.6%. Her recent posts reflect her ongoing engagement with global issues and her willingness to speak out against rhetoric she views as inflammatory or dangerous.
