Congresswoman Yassamin Ansari, who represents her district following a decisive victory in the 2024 general election, recently addressed several contentious national issues through posts on her social media account.

On April 2, 2026, Ansari called for the dismissal of Pam Bondi and greater transparency regarding the Epstein case. She wrote: “Good. Fire Bondi and release the Epstein Files.”

Later that day, Ansari commented on U.S. foreign policy and its domestic repercussions, specifically referencing Iran and former President Donald Trump. She stated: “The Islamic Republic has murdered and terrorized its own people for decades. But this war isn’t about freedom or democracy for the Iranian people.

By upending the U.S. economy with an illegal war in Iran, Donald Trump is helping Big Oil and enemy regimes. Instead of lowering”

In a subsequent post, Ansari referenced an upcoming congressional hearing involving Pam Bondi. She noted: “I look forward to hearing from Pam Bondi on April 14 where she must testify – under oath – per the lawful, bipartisan subpoena from the Oversight Committee.”

Ansari secured her current position after defeating Jeff Zink in the 2024 general election with 70.9% of the vote compared to Zink’s 26.6%.
