Congresswoman Yassamin Ansari, who represents her district after winning the 2024 general election against Jeff Zink with 70.9% of the vote, has recently made several statements on social media regarding women’s health, criminal justice issues, and federal investigations.

On May 21, 2026, Ansari addressed concerns about women’s healthcare in a tweet: “Women’s pain has been ignored and dismissed for far too long. No more. During Women’s History Month, I introduced my HER Agenda, a package of bills to expand women’s health research, improve pain management, support people with PMDD and endometriosis, and create paid”.

The following day, on May 22, 2026, she commented on developments related to the ongoing Epstein investigation: “I took part in yet another transcribed interview today as part of our Epstein investigation, and all I can think about is: Why have Donald Trump/Todd Blanche moved Ghislaine Maxwell, who’s a monster, to a cushy jail? Why are they considering pardoning her? This White House cover”.

Later that same day, Ansari discussed a recent court decision involving Kilmar Abrego Garcia: “The Trump Administration was hellbent on destroying an innocent man’s life, all to avoid admitting they wrongfully deported him. Today, a federal judge threw out the DOJ’s bullshit case against Kilmar Abrego Garcia. Fighting authoritarianism works. We can’t back down.”

Yassamin Ansari secured her seat in Congress by defeating Jeff Zink in the 2024 general election with over seventy percent of the vote.
