Congresswoman Yassamin Ansari, who won her seat in 2024 by defeating Jeff Zink with 70.9% of the vote, has recently used her social media platform to address several ongoing political issues and legislative priorities.

On May 31, 2026, Ansari criticized the handling of a subpoena for Pam Bondi, stating, “We subpoenaed Pam Bondi to testify under oath before the American people. Instead? Republicans let her interview behind closed doors. It’s ridiculous and it’s a cover up. @OversightDems are not backing down.”

The following day, June 1, she highlighted efforts to support women experiencing pain conditions: “I’m working to destigmatize the pain too many women endure in silence, including the newly-recognized PMOS. The more we uplift women’s stories, the louder the public calls for real research and bold legislation like mine that will change what’s possible for future generations.”

On June 2, Ansari commented on a recent appointment by former President Donald Trump: “Trump is appointing Bill Pulte as the Acting Director of National Intelligence. This guy has ZERO experience in national security—he’s a Trump cult loyalist who will weaponize this critical agency ahead of the election. Extremely dangerous and we have to stop it.”

Ansari’s remarks come as she continues her work in Congress after securing a decisive victory over Jeff Zink in 2024.
