In a post celebrating LGBTQIA+ rights, Ansari wrote on June 2, 2026: “Happy Pride Month! Proud to be a member of the @EqualityCaucus and an ally of the LGBTQIA+ community. This month, we celebrate love, inclusion, and the freedom to be yourself. I’m proud to stand with the LGBTQIA+ community. Wishing everyone in AZ-03 a happy #PrideMonth!”
Later that day, she commented on national events with another post, “It’s the most egregious cover up in American history.”
That evening, Ansari elaborated further in a third tweet, “Todd Blanche was Donald Trump’s personal attorney. Yassamin Ansari won her seat in Congress by defeating Jeff Zink in the 2024 general election with 70.9% of the vote to Zink’s 26.6%.
