Congresswoman Yassamin Ansari, representing Arizona’s 3rd district, made several statements on her Twitter account on June 2, 2026, addressing Pride Month and expressing concerns about recent political developments.

In a post celebrating LGBTQIA+ rights, Ansari wrote on June 2, 2026: “Happy Pride Month! Proud to be a member of the @EqualityCaucus and an ally of the LGBTQIA+ community. This month, we celebrate love, inclusion, and the freedom to be yourself. I’m proud to stand with the LGBTQIA+ community. Wishing everyone in AZ-03 a happy #PrideMonth!”

Later that day, she commented on national events with another post, “It’s the most egregious cover up in American history.”

That evening, Ansari elaborated further in a third tweet, “Todd Blanche was Donald Trump’s personal attorney. And last week, Pam Bondi made clear that he’s been the one handling the release of the Epstein Files. The astounding levels of corruption and cover up will be studied in history books one day. And Republicans in Congress are”

Yassamin Ansari won her seat in Congress by defeating Jeff Zink in the 2024 general election with 70.9% of the vote to Zink’s 26.6%.
