Congresswoman Yassamin Ansari, who represents Arizona’s 3rd congressional district, recently shared a series of posts on her social media accounts covering a range of topics from personal reflections to legislative initiatives and community events.
On October 10, 2025, Ansari made a pointed remark about another user, posting: “.@StephenM — the smallest man who ever lived. (Not physically. Emotionally).”
Later that same day, she addressed mental health awareness on World Mental Health Day. In her post dated October 10, 2025, Ansari wrote: “Today is #WorldMentalHealthDay — and none of us are immune. I’ve dealt with anxiety myself, and I know how hard it can be to find support when you need it. That’s why I joined @RepBonnie to introduce the Mental Health Emergency Package—three bills that strengthen crisis”
On October 11, 2025, Ansari highlighted upcoming community events in honor of Indigenous Peoples’ Day. She posted: “Celebrating Native heritage all weekend ahead of #IndigenousPeoplesDay on Monday — from the Downtown Phoenix Night Market to Native Health’s Open House and Health Fair. See what’s going on in #AZ03 “
Yassamin Ansari was elected to Congress in 2024 after defeating Jeff Zink by a significant margin—receiving nearly 71% of the vote compared to Zink’s approximately 27%. As a representative for Arizona’s 3rd district, she has focused on both legislative efforts such as mental health reform and engagement with local cultural celebrations.
