Congresswoman Yassamin Ansari has recently addressed several international and domestic issues in a series of posts on her social media account.

On April 10, 2026, Ansari shared an emotional response to correspondence from Iran, stating, “I received this letter from a woman in Tehran and it brought me to tears. It’s unimaginable what the Iranian people have had to endure, from a brutal regime that massacred tens of thousands in January, to relentless bombing and destruction during Trump’s illegal war. The following day, April 11, 2026, she highlighted efforts toward transparency regarding high-profile criminal cases. She wrote, “I’m grateful that @CourierNewsroom created this comprehensive database that allows anyone to search through the Epstein Files that have been released. I’ve used this tool and it has been helpful as @OversightDems continues to pursue justice for the survivors “.

Later on April 11, Ansari discussed legislative initiatives aimed at supporting internet access for Iranians. She posted: “Even this Trump Administration can help the Iranian people by appropriating funds for direct-to-cell internet connectivity. I have a bill, the IRAN (Internet Reach and Access Now Act), that does that. Lebanon must also be included in the ceasefire. More than 1,800 have been https://t.co/d7VIfCeENu”.
