Congresswoman Yassamin Ansari has recently used her social media platform to address issues ranging from expressions of gratitude to legislative advocacy and international human rights concerns.

On March 17, 2026, Ansari posted a message acknowledging the work of another public official: “Thank you, @SenMarkKelly, for your principled leadership.”

Later that day, she shared a recommendation with her followers: “A must watch.” The tweet included a link but did not provide further details about the content.

In a subsequent post on March 17, 2026, Ansari addressed the situation in Iran regarding internet access and government actions. She wrote: “The Islamic Republic’s total internet blackout is actively putting Iranian civilians in danger while silencing their voices. The regime used this same tactic earlier this year when they brutally massacred tens of thousands. That’s why Congress must pass my two bipartisan bills -“

Ansari, who won her seat in Congress by defeating Jeff Zink in the 2024 general election with approximately 70.9% of the vote to Zink’s 26.6%, continues to use her platform to advocate for legislative measures and draw attention to international events.
