Congresswoman Yassamin Ansari has recently used her social media platform to address issues ranging from immigration enforcement in Phoenix to the ongoing investigation into the Epstein Files, as well as extending holiday greetings to her constituents.
On March 31, 2026, Ansari expressed support for local measures aimed at reducing Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) activity in Phoenix. She stated, “I’m pleased to see Phoenix taking steps to protect our community from ICE. It’s past time that we hold ICE agents accountable and protect those who are afraid to live their lives because of ICE’s presence in the city. We must keep fighting back in any way that we can.”
The following day, on April 1, 2026, Ansari commented on efforts by congressional oversight committees regarding documents related to Jeffrey Epstein. She wrote, “The Epstein Files cover-up is vast and has spanned decades. There are many people, within the files that we have and the ones that are still being withheld from us, who still need to be investigated. @OversightDems will continue to fight to bring justice to all of the survivors.”
Later on April 1, Ansari also marked a significant Jewish holiday with a message directed at her district and beyond: “Happy Passover to all those celebrating in AZ-03 and across the country! As you gather with your loved ones around the Seder table, may this season bring peace and joy.”
Yassamin Ansari was elected as U.S. Representative after defeating Jeff Zink in the 2024 general election with over 70% of the vote.
