The Phoenix Symphony was featured in episode 183 of The Arts Scene Podcast with Lynette and Ari, where Christopher Powell discussed the appointment of Paolo Bartolameolli as the organization’s new Virginia G. Piper Music Director, according to a Mar. 24 announcement.

This development is significant for The Phoenix Symphony and its supporters, as leadership changes often signal new artistic directions and opportunities for community engagement.

In addition to highlighting the appointment, The Phoenix Symphony is encouraging supporters to contribute before December 31 in order to help reach a $250,000 fundraising goal. The organization said that donations are tax-deductible and will support performances, music education programs, and hospice bedside visits that provide comfort through music when words fall short.

The symphony also informed patrons that its ticketing system will be temporarily unavailable from May 1 at 9:00 PM through May 2 at 6:00 AM due to maintenance. They apologized for any inconvenience this may cause and thanked their community for their patience.

As the symphony prepares for upcoming programming under its new music director, it continues efforts to engage donors and ensure ongoing support for its mission.
