The Arizona Cardinals have signed tight end Rivaldo Fairweather from the Dallas Cowboys’ practice squad to their 53-man roster. This move follows the recent addition of kicker Joshua Karty as the team continues to make changes ahead of the 2026 offseason.
To create space for Fairweather, cornerback Kei’Trel Clark was placed on Injured Reserve due to a back injury. Clark is now the 23rd player on the Cardinals’ current IR list, not including those who were previously on IR and have since returned. Cornerback Sean Murphy-Bunting remains out for the season on the Non-Football Injury list.
Additionally, tight end Messiah Swinson has been released from the practice squad.
Fairweather joins as an undrafted rookie from Auburn. The Cardinals’ tight end group also includes Trey McBride, Elijah Higgins, Josiah Deguara, and Pharaoh Brown. Tip Reiman and Travis Vokolek are both on injured reserve. Brown and Deguara will become unrestricted free agents after this season.
Clark appeared in 14 games this year with one start, recording two passes defensed, a forced fumble, a tackle for loss, and 25 total tackles. He also contributed ten tackles on special teams.
