The Arizona Cardinals have made a strategic move by signing defensive lineman Patrick Jenkins. This decision is part of General Manager Monti Ossenfort’s ongoing efforts to strengthen the team’s defensive front during the offseason.

In conjunction with this new addition, the Cardinals have released defensive lineman Ben Stille, who was with the team for most of 2024.

Patrick Jenkins, hailing from Tulane University, entered the professional scene as an undrafted player last month. Although he participated in the New Orleans Saints’ rookie minicamp recently, he did not secure a contract there.

During his time at Tulane, Jenkins distinguished himself as a key player over two seasons by leading in sacks and tackles for loss. His college career statistics include 107 tackles, 28 tackles for loss, and 13 sacks. Notably, he contributed to Tulane’s narrow victory over USC in the 2023 Cotton Bowl by recording a safety.

The Cardinals’ defensive line is already bolstered by players such as Dalvin Tomlinson, Calais Campbell, Walter Nolen III, and others including Darius Robinson, Justin Jones, and Bilal Nichols. Jenkins will join this robust lineup just ahead of organized team activities (OTAs).
