Cody Simon has officially signed his four-year contract with the Cardinals, marking a significant step in his journey as a rookie linebacker. The signing reduces the number of draft picks yet to finalize contracts to two, specifically first-round pick Walter Nolen III and second-round pick Will Johnson.

Simon, selected in the fourth round, will compete for a starting position at inside linebacker. He will face competition from Mack Wilson Sr., free-agent additions Akeem Davis-Gaither and Mykel Walker, as well as returning player Owen Pappoe.

Expressing his aspirations for the upcoming season, Simon stated, “My goal every year no matter what is to win it all. Whether (the media) thinks it’s possible or not that should be the goal. We’ve got the guys to do it. We were a couple games away (last year) from cracking the surface. That’s a possibility at all times for us, especially with our quarterback. I’m just excited for the season.”
