The Arizona Cardinals are set to continue their tradition of joint practices during the preseason, with a session scheduled against the Denver Broncos. This practice will take place on August 14, ahead of their preseason game in Denver on August 16.
Since Jonathan Gannon’s arrival as head coach in 2023, he has expressed support for practicing against other teams. Previously, the Cardinals traveled to Tennessee for joint workouts with the Titans under former coach Kliff Kingsbury. Last year, they practiced twice with the Minnesota Vikings and also had two sessions with the Indianapolis Colts before respective games.
This season, only one practice is planned against Sean Payton’s Broncos. The Cardinals’ preseason includes games against AFC West opponents. They will begin organized team activities next week and have a mandatory minicamp from June 10-12. Training camp will commence in late July, although specific dates have not been announced yet.
