The Arizona Cardinals have started the 21-day practice window for defensive lineman L.J. Collier, according to head coach Jonathan Gannon. Collier has been on Injured Reserve since suffering a knee injury during the team’s second game of the season against the Carolina Panthers.
Collier joins running back Trey Benson and offensive lineman Christian Jones as players currently on Injured Reserve who are now eligible to return to practice while remaining on IR.
In addition to Collier’s potential return, the Cardinals promoted tight end Pharaoh Brown from the practice squad to the active 53-man roster. The team also re-signed running back Jermar Jefferson and wide receiver Bryson Green to their practice squad.
The Cardinals’ defensive line continues to manage injuries, with Walter Nolen III dealing with a knee issue. At wide receiver, Marvin Harrison Jr. is recovering from a heel injury. Gannon provided an update on Harrison’s condition, stating that he is “OK.”
