Josh Sweat and Marvin Harrison Jr. were both active for the Arizona Cardinals during their recent game against the Cincinnati Bengals, but injuries limited their participation. Sweat, who had not practiced throughout the week due to an ankle injury suffered against the Falcons, started at outside linebacker but played only 24 snaps. This was his lowest snap count in a full game this season. Last week, he played just seven snaps after sustaining the injury.

Harrison also attempted to play despite dealing with a heel issue. He did not start and appeared on only 19 snaps, which was his second-lowest total of the year. He was targeted once without making a catch and exited the game early.

At left tackle, Josh Fryar played every offensive snap for the first time as Paris Johnson Jr., the usual starter, remained on injured reserve. Running back Michael Carter started again but had 25 snaps, five fewer than Emari Demercado’s 30 snaps. Demercado’s workload increased compared to his previous two games combined.

On defense, three players—Rabbit Taylor-Demerson (safety), Jalen Thompson (safety), and Cody Simon (inside linebacker)—were on the field for all 77 defensive snaps. Cornerbacks Denzel Burke and Will Johnson each played 75 snaps. Darren Hall returned from a concussion and participated in a season-high 56 defensive plays.

Max Melton contributed solely on special teams with 17 snaps and did not appear defensively for the first time in his career.

On the defensive line, Dalvin Tomlinson logged a season-high 40 snaps while L.J. Collier returned from injured reserve to play his own season-high of 31 snaps since being sidelined after Week 2.
