Defensive lineman L.J. Collier has been activated from the Injured Reserve list by the Arizona Cardinals, marking his return to the roster after an injury sustained in Week 2 against the Panthers. This move comes as rookie Walter Nolen III was placed on IR this week due to a knee injury.

Collier is now in his third season with the Cardinals. He missed most of the 2023 season after being injured in Week 1 but played all 17 games in 2024 and recorded 3.5 sacks before being sidelined again this year.

The team also made changes to its practice squad following quarterback Jeff Driskel’s departure to Washington earlier this week, leaving a vacancy for a third quarterback behind Jacoby Brissett and Kedon Slovis. The Cardinals have signed Logan Woodside to fill that spot on the practice squad and released safety Patrick McMorris to make room.

Woodside, who entered the NFL in 2018, has previously spent time with several teams including two stints each with both the Titans—where current Cardinals General Manager Monti Ossenfort worked in the front office—and Bengals, as well as periods with the Steelers and Falcons.
