Banner Health seeks public help to identify man injured in Phoenix accident

Banner Health is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a young Hispanic man who suffered severe head injuries after being struck by a vehicle in central Phoenix earlier this year, according to an April 8 announcement.

The unidentified man was hit by a car near 27th Avenue and Buckeye Road on January 12 and was transported to Banner – University Medical Center Phoenix. Despite efforts from both Banner Health and the Phoenix Police Department, the man’s identity remains unknown as he carried no identification at the time of the incident. After exhausting all usual methods of identification, Banner Health is reaching out to the community for help in reconnecting him with his family.

According to information provided by Banner Health, the patient has braces and several distinctive tattoos, including an image of singer Rihanna, a large open pocketwatch on his forearm, and “One Life, One Chance” scripted on his side. The hospital notes that although his condition has stabilized since being placed on life support after admission, he remains unable to communicate due to brain injury.
