Former Paradise Valley High School athlete John Witt and the Arkansas Tech Wonder Boys fell 6-1 to the Delta State Statesmen in their NCAA Division II baseball clash on Tuesday, March 17, at 3 p.m.
Baswell Field was the venue for the game, marking the teams’ first meeting of the season.
Witt threw for two innings, issuing one walk and tallying one strikeout.
The Wonder Boys return to Baswell Field for their next contest on Friday, March 20, at 6 p.m. against the East Central Tigers.
