Arkansas Tech edges Arkansas–Monticello 12-11 behind Cole Dickson’s start

At 6 p.m. on Friday, March 6, Cole Dickson, a former Sandra Day O’Connor High School standout, pitched for the Arkansas Tech Wonder Boys in their narrow 12-11 NCAA Division II win over the Arkansas–Monticello Boll Weevils.

The matchup was held at Baswell Field and marked the teams’ second faceoff of the season. Their initial meeting occurred Tuesday, Feb. 10, when the Wonder Boys prevailed 5-2.

During his outing, Dickson gave up six earned runs across four innings, allowing three walks and striking out six batters.

The Wonder Boys are set to play the Arkansas–Monticello Boll Weevils again at Baswell Field on Saturday, March 7, at 1 p.m.
