The Arizona Wildcats, with former Brophy College Preparatory standout Benton Hickman on the roster, suffered an 11-2 loss to the UConn Huskies in an NCAA Division I baseball game at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 22.
Hi Corbett Field served as the venue for the matchup, marking their fourth game against the Huskies this season. The Wildcats had taken a 5-4 victory over UConn in their previous meeting on Saturday, Feb. 21.
Hickman pitched two innings, allowing one earned run and recording three strikeouts.
Up next, the Wildcats are set to play the Oregon Ducks at Las Vegas Ballpark on Friday, Feb. 27, with first pitch scheduled for 6:40 p.m.
