The Arizona Homeschool Theatre Group will present Seussical Jr., a musical based on the works of Dr. Seuss, at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Phoenix from May 15–17.

“Horton the Elephant, the Cat in the Hat and all of your favorite Dr. Seuss characters spring to life onstage in Seussical JR., a fantastical musical extravaganza from Tony-winners, Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty,” said the theatre group in a statement. 

The performances will take place at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, 1212 E. Glendale Avenue in Phoenix On Thursday, May 15 at 7 p.m., Friday, May 16 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m., and Saturday, May 17 at 2 p.m. 

The theatre group has two casts for this production. All actors will appear in every show, but their roles vary by cast. 

Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for children, students, and seniors. Children two and under are free. Tickets are available at the door or in advance through Zeffy. Return tickets are available at the door for $5 cash.

The play is directed by Kerri Christie and Annika Axman, with assistant director Eva Christie. Music direction is by Eeshan Kumar and Kendra Goodenberger, with choreography by Mitchell Glass.
