State Farm Stadium will host a new event on February 21, 2026, as the Arizona Cardinals Foundation introduces the first Cardinals Climb. The initiative is designed as a community fundraiser to support organizations that help people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDDs).

Participants will be able to choose from various routes inside the stadium, making it accessible for fans, families, and teams of all abilities. Proceeds from the event are set to benefit several organizations: Barrow Neurological Foundation, Southwest Autism Research & Resource Center (SARRC), Special Olympics Arizona, and Treasure House.

“As someone with a family member that has disabilities, this cause is important to me,” said owner Michael Bidwill. “This event gives us a way to shine a spotlight on the challenges, while also making a real and immediate difference.”

Bidwill emphasized the organization’s commitment beyond football: “The Cardinals have always been about more than just football. Supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is close to our hearts. Not just as an organization, but for so many of our players, staff, and fans.”

Registration for Cardinals Climb is available at www.cardinalsclimb.com. Participants who register will receive access to a personalized fundraising portal to share their stories and gather support.

The event offers multiple ways for people to get involved beyond hiking in person. Individuals can become Climb Leaders by forming teams or assisting with recruitment and fundraising efforts. There is also an option for off-site participation so supporters can join remotely.

Routes within State Farm Stadium will vary in difficulty to accommodate different ages and abilities.

“Every person who takes part in this event brings us closer to our goal and strengthens the impact we can make together,” Bidwill said.
