Arizona Public Service (APS) announced it will provide $250,000 in shareholder funds to The Salvation Army to aid those affected by recent flooding in the Globe-Miami area. In addition to the financial donation, APS is supplying personal protective equipment and tools such as hard hats, gloves, and eye protection for volunteers participating in recovery efforts.

“Arizona isn’t just where we work – it’s home. Seeing our neighbors in the Globe-Miami community go through such devastating flooding is heartbreaking,” said Ted Geisler, APS President and CEO. “We want our customers to know they’re not alone – we’re here to help however we can. Please reach out if you need support with your account or services. Above all, your safety and well-being matter most to us.”

The donation aims to assist with cleanup operations and provide necessities like food and shelter for victims of the floods.

APS also encouraged its customers impacted by the severe weather in Globe-Miami to contact their advisors for assistance with accounts or services. Support is available 24/7 in both English and Spanish at (602) 371-7171 or (800) 253-9405.
