America’s Tire announced on Mar. 19 a three-year partnership with the Philadelphia Union, making it the soccer club’s Official Tire Retailer and granting the company prominent branding at Subaru Park and during home matches.
The agreement is significant for both organizations as it aims to promote tire safety awareness among fans while expanding America’s Tire’s presence in the Northeast. The partnership includes digital content featuring Union players and support for the Army-Navy Cup, a historic soccer event.
Tom Williams, chief experience officer at America’s Tire, said, “As America’s Tire continues to expand its presence in the Northeast, our objective is to exceed customer expectations by ensuring consistent, reliable support across every interaction.” Charlie Slonaker, Chief Revenue Officer of Philadelphia Union, added, “We’re excited to welcome America’s Tire as a partner of the Philadelphia Union. Through this partnership, we share a commitment to helping keep our communities safe by raising awareness about tire safety and road readiness among our fans.”
America’s Tire opened its first Philadelphia-area stores in 2024 and now operates three locations locally, including one in Burlington, New Jersey. The company also serves as the Official Tire Retailer of Major League Soccer (MLS), supporting events such as the MLS All-Star Game and MLS Cup. In addition to tires and wheels, America’s Tire offers wiper blades for online or in-store purchase and provides expert services like tire safety checks near Subaru Park in Exton and Whitehall, Pennsylvania.
Founded in 1960 by Bruce T. Halle, America’s Tire operates more than 1,250 stores across 40 states under different brand names depending on location. The company is also known for its proprietary Treadwell online tool that recommends tires based on driving habits.
The Philadelphia Union competes in Major League Soccer and has achieved several milestones since its inaugural season in 2010. The club plays at Subaru Park in Chester, Pennsylvania—a facility that is part of a larger waterfront campus featuring training complexes and sports facilities.
