On Monday, June 1, Salen Hawkins, a former Desert Vista High School standout, took the field with her collegiate squad, the Alabama Crimson Tide, who were narrowly defeated 5-4 by the Texas Tech Lady Raiders in the NCAA Tournament.
Devon Park hosted the contest at 6 p.m.
The Alabama Crimson Tide are scheduled for their next matchup at Devon Park on Monday, June 1, at 9 p.m.
The Everett AquaSox were defeated 12-5 by the Hillsboro Hops in their June 16 MiLB matchup.
The Sacramento River Cats defeated the Oklahoma City Comets 10-1 in their MiLB contest on Tuesday, June 16.
Arizona senior Tayler Biehl has been named to the CSC Academic All-American second team after an impressive academic and athletic year. Biehl completed her degree with a perfect GPA and finished her college career as one of Arizona’s top defensive players.
