On Monday, June 1, Salen Hawkins, a former Desert Vista High School standout, took the field with her collegiate squad, the Alabama Crimson Tide, who were narrowly defeated 5-4 by the Texas Tech Lady Raiders in the NCAA Tournament.

Devon Park hosted the contest at 6 p.m.

The Alabama Crimson Tide are scheduled for their next matchup at Devon Park on Monday, June 1, at 9 p.m.
